Macedonian is the official language of North Macedonia, with around 2 million native speakers. It's a Slavic language written in Cyrillic, closely related to Bulgarian — the two are largely mutually intelligible — but distinct enough that documents from North Macedonia should be translated by a Macedonian specialist, not a Bulgarian one. The Macedonian-American community is centred on Detroit and its surrounding Michigan suburbs, plus parts of New York and New Jersey. Our Macedonian translation work is mostly USCIS civil documents, academic transcripts, and the occasional business contract.
