Dogri is an Indo-Aryan language spoken by around 2.5 million people, primarily in the Jammu region of Jammu and Kashmir (India). It received recognition as an official language of India in 2003. The US Dogri-speaking community is small, part of the broader Indian-American population from northern India, concentrated in the Northeast and California. Our Dogri translation work is occasional and typically tied to Indian civil documents from the Jammu region being processed for USCIS or academic credential evaluation. Dogri is written in Devanagari.
