Bicol (Bikol) is a group of Austronesian languages spoken by around 5 million people in the Bicol Region of the Philippines, on the southeastern Luzon peninsula. The Bicolano-American community is part of the broader Filipino-American population, concentrated in California, Hawaii, and the New York-New Jersey area. Our Bicol translation work is mostly USCIS civil documents — Philippine birth and marriage certificates from Bicol-region sources — alongside the church and school records that accompany Filipino family-reunification petitions. Bicol uses the Latin alphabet.
