No state runs a court certification exam in Xiang; several certify Mandarin, and courts otherwise use a qualified Xiang interpreter, a request courts have brought to us. Hospitals that take federal funds must provide one at no cost. At USCIS the Xiang interpreter renders each answer as given.

About the Xiang Language
