About Vlach Language
Vlach is an umbrella term for several Eastern Romance language varieties spoken across the Balkans — including Aromanian, Megleno-Romanian, and the broader Vlach communities of Greece, Albania, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, and Serbia. Around 250,000 people speak some Vlach variety. The US Vlach-speaking community is essentially non-existent; documents from these regions are typically in the official national language and routed accordingly.
