Uzbek is the official language of Uzbekistan and the most widely spoken Turkic language in Central Asia, with around 35 million native speakers. The country has been in a long transition from Cyrillic to Latin script — formally completed multiple times in policy but still mixed in everyday use — so source documents may be in either alphabet. The US Uzbek-American community is around 60,000, concentrated in New York City (particularly Brooklyn), Philadelphia, and parts of the Pacific Northwest. Our Uzbek translation work is a balanced mix of USCIS asylum and family-reunification documents, Uzbek academic transcripts for credential evaluation, and Central Asian business contracts.
