About the Tshiluba Language

Tshiluba (Luba-Kasai) is a Bantu language spoken by around 6 million people in the Kasai region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, where it's one of the four national languages. The US Tshiluba-speaking community is small, tied to Congolese refugee and immigrant populations in Texas, Maryland, and parts of the Midwest. Our Tshiluba translation work is occasional and typically USCIS asylum-related, alongside the church and community-association documents tied to Congolese diaspora networks.
