About Pitcairnese Language

Pitcairnese (Pitkern) is an English-based creole spoken on Pitcairn Island — one of the world's smallest inhabited territories, with under 50 residents — and on Norfolk Island, where it's called Norf'k. Pitcairnese is the heritage language of descendants of the HMS Bounty mutineers and their Tahitian companions. Our Pitcairnese translation work is essentially non-existent.
