View transcription service →Mongolian is the official language of Mongolia, with around 5 million native speakers, plus an additional 6 million speakers in Inner Mongolia (an autonomous region of China). The two communities use different writing systems, Mongolia uses Cyrillic, while Inner Mongolia uses the traditional vertical Mongolian script that descends from Old Uighur. Mongolia is in the middle of a transition back to the traditional script in parallel with Cyrillic. The US Mongolian-American community is around 20,000, concentrated in the Washington DC area, Denver, Chicago, and Los Angeles. Most of our Mongolian translation work is USCIS civil documents and educational transcripts.
