Monegasque (Monégasque) is the historical local language of Monaco, an Italian-Romance variety closely related to Ligurian (the language of nearby Genoa). It's spoken by only a few thousand people today, with French dominating in Monaco's everyday life and administration. Our Monegasque translation work is essentially non-existent; Monégasque civil documents are issued in French and routed accordingly.
