About Mandingo Language

Mandingo (Mandinka) is the West African Manding language spoken by around 1.3 million people, primarily in The Gambia, Senegal, Guinea-Bissau, and Mali. It's closely related to Bambara, Diula, and other Manding varieties. The US Mandingo-speaking community is part of the broader West African immigrant population, particularly in New York City, Newark, and Cincinnati. Our Mandingo translation work is mostly USCIS family-court and asylum paperwork, alongside the community-association documents tied to West African mosque and immigrant networks.
