Kikongo is a Bantu language spoken by around 7 million people across the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Republic of the Congo, and parts of Angola. It's the historical language of the Kingdom of Kongo and one of the four national languages of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Our Kikongo translation work is occasional and typically tied to USCIS asylum and family-reunification paperwork from Congolese refugees, alongside the church and community-association documents that accompany the established US Congolese diaspora.
