Kapingamarangi is a Polynesian language spoken by around 3,000 people on Kapingamarangi atoll in the Federated States of Micronesia, plus a few hundred speakers in the Pohnpei community. It's a Polynesian outlier — an island of Polynesian language in the broader Micronesian-language region. Our Kapingamarangi translation work is essentially non-existent in normal operations.
