Kannada is the official language of the Indian state of Karnataka and its capital Bengaluru (Bangalore) — a Dravidian language with around 45 million speakers. The US Kannada-speaking community is heavily concentrated in the tech corridor — the San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, Austin, Boston, and New Jersey — driven by Bengaluru's role as India's largest IT export hub. Our Kannada translation work tends to be a balanced mix of USCIS civil documents (birth and marriage certificates from Karnataka), academic transcripts being evaluated for US credential boards, and the H-1B and family-document paperwork that comes with the IT migration. Kannada uses its own script.
