Ilocano is a Philippine language spoken by around 10 million people, primarily in the Ilocos region of northern Luzon and as a regional lingua franca across northern Philippines. The Ilocano-American community is one of the older Filipino-American populations — concentrated in Hawaii (where they were brought as sugarcane labour in the early 20th century), California's Central Valley, and parts of the Pacific Northwest. Our Ilocano translation work is mostly USCIS civil documents from Ilocos-region Filipino sources, alongside academic transcripts and family-reunification paperwork.
