About Croatian Language

Croatian is one of the three standard varieties of what was formerly Serbo-Croatian, alongside Serbian and Bosnian. It uses the Latin alphabet and has roughly 5 million native speakers. In the United States the Croatian-American community is well-established — centred on Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Chicago, San Pedro (Los Angeles), and parts of New Jersey — with deep roots in steel, shipbuilding, and the Catholic Church. Our Croatian translation work is a steady mix of genealogy and dual-citizenship documents (Croatia allows descent-based citizenship), USCIS civil records, and business contracts tied to the Croatian tourism and maritime sectors.
